English A0 → A1: explained in Turkish, from zero to your first conversation
The same method and the same teacher as our Dutch classes: the material is explained in Turkish during the lesson and reinforced with plenty of speaking practice. A live weekend class, or one-to-one lessons if you prefer.
Who it is for
Adults who have never studied English or did not get beyond what they saw at school. People who need English in the Netherlands for work, official matters and social life, and people in Turkey who want to build a foundation, can share the same class; lessons are online and the explanations are in Turkish.
Our teacher Ekin Aynacı holds a degree in English Language Teaching and knows the typical difficulties of Turkish speakers.
What you learn at this level
- Introducing yourself, family, profession and address
- Numbers, time, date, prices and quantities
- Short everyday dialogues: shopping, asking the way, making an appointment
- Reading simple notices, signs, e-mails and short messages
- English sounds and pronunciation points for Turkish speakers
- Basic sentence structure and asking questions

Frequently asked questions
When are the classes?
Two sessions a week of 1.5 hours: Saturday and Sunday 19:00-20:30 Dutch time (21:00-22:30 Turkish time in winter). First lesson 12 December 2026, last lesson 28 March 2027; no lessons over the holidays (21 December - 3 January).
In which language are the lessons explained?
The explanations are in Turkish, with English examples and plenty of speaking practice. As the level rises, the share of English increases.
Can I join from Turkey, and how do I pay?
Yes. The lessons are online. Prices are in euros; the TL amount on the Turkish pages is for information only, the exchange rate at the time of payment applies.
What if I cannot continue?
If the class cannot start with at least 3 students, your registration moves to the next class by default; if you prefer, you get a full refund. Exercises and assignments of missed sessions remain available.
All prices include taxes. 1 live hour = 60 minutes. These prices are for the group class; one-to-one work is charged at the private lesson rate. Our first 4 Dutch classes and our first English class are founding classes: students who continue to the next class without a break also pay the opening price for the following levels.
