Subject:How we work

We moved explanation into the video and gave live time to speaking. Small group, weekly correction and a measurement every four weeks. Pending teacher approval Progress is measured, not felt.

The backbone of the programme

  1. Level consultation and placement

Short written screening + speaking interview. Language level and exam knowledge are assessed separately; differences between the four skills become visible. Free and without sales pressure.

  2. Flipped classroom

A mandatory 20-40 minute video + automatic exercise before every live session. At least 70 percent of the live 60 minutes goes to Spreken and Lezen production and feedback; the explanation is not repeated live.

  3. Live group of 6-8

A maximum of 8 so everyone speaks in every session. Breakout rooms, role plays and short recorded performances. Two sessions a week, mostly evenings, Dutch time.

  4. Weekly task and two working days

One short writing or speaking task per student per week; the teacher gives written feedback within two working days. Pending teacher approval This workload is included in the price.

  5. Measurement every four weeks

Skills check. At the end a report with four skills + teacher comments. Attending a class does not automatically mean reaching the target level; you see where you stand every month. Pending teacher approval

  6. Contrastive grammar for Turkish speakers

Word order, separable verbs, inversion, de/het and other typical stumbling blocks for Turkish speakers in separate mini-modules. Turkish support is intensive on A0-A2; from B1 the share of Dutch increases.

The student who did not watch the video

Joins the lesson but is not given a repeat of the explanation; the missed video and exercise are completed before the next session. On the second occurrence the teacher issues a written warning. This rule protects everyone's live time. Pending teacher approval

Class start and refunds

A class starts with at least 6 paying students; the target is 8. If the threshold is not met the class does not start automatically; there is a dated waiting list and a choice between postponement and a full refund. Pending teacher approval We do not charge as if a course were ready before date, teacher and scope are fixed.

What we do not promise

No pass guarantee, no "guaranteed B1". Instead a measurable assurance: a student who reaches the threshold score in the mock exams and attends 80 percent of lessons but does not pass receives a 4-week repeat module free of charge. At the end of each term we report first-attempt pass rates. Pending teacher approval

Frequently asked questions

  1. Which platform do you use?

Live lessons via Zoom; videos, exercises and tasks in our own student portal, with device limit and watermark.

  2. Can I watch a missed lesson?

Live sessions are not shared as recordings for privacy reasons; the preparation video, exercises and tasks remain available. If needed the teacher sends a short written summary.

  3. Do you have the Blik op Werk keurmerk?

The system was set up to the keurmerk standard from day one (registration, intake, maximum 15 participants, complaints procedure). The application for the aspirant keurmerk follows after the first two cohorts; we state the current status clearly before enrolment.
