Which level matches which goal
A1 is the level of the basisexamen inburgering buitenland (family reunification). A2 is the general language threshold the IND publishes for naturalisation, completed with KNM. B1 is the standard of the Wet inburgering 2021 and the level of Staatsexamen NT2 Programma I. B2 is Staatsexamen NT2 Programma II and the BIG threshold for HBO healthcare professions; doctors, dentists and pharmacists need B2+. C1 is for academic and senior professional use.
Exam preparation does not replace a general language course: exam packages are designed for students who are already close to the relevant level. First the level, then the exam technique.
