This class is taught in Turkish: the teacher explains the material in the live lesson, repeats it as needed and you get plenty of speaking practice. Sounds, greetings, numbers, time, shopping and simple question and answer form the backbone of this level.

For adults who finished A0 → A1 or know the basics; explained in Turkish, join from the Netherlands or Turkey.

All prices include taxes. 1 live hour = 60 minutes. Our first 4 Dutch classes and our first English class are founding classes: students who continue to the next class without a break also pay the opening price for the following levels.

  • Talking in short sentences about daily routines, habits and past events
  • Handling simple tasks in English: shopping, ordering food, asking the way
  • Writing short personal e-mails and messages
  • Understanding simple adverts, menus, programmes and short news items
  • Following everyday conversation spoken slowly and clearly
  • Basic tenses (present simple, present continuous, past) and common linking words
