Who it is for
Students who have completed the B1 → B2 course or are found close to B2 in the level consultation. The Programma II diploma is required for admission to universities of applied sciences and research universities, for some professional registrations and for qualified job applications. For healthcare professionals the requirement varies between B2 and B2+ by profession; we explain this on the BIG preparation page.

Frequently asked questions
Is the B2 diploma enough for the BIG?
HBO healthcare professions (physiotherapist, midwife) require B2; WO professions (doctor, dentist, pharmacist) require B2+, and a general B2 diploma does not automatically count there. We determine the right route per profession in the level consultation.
Why 30 hours?
At B2 the writing and speaking parts are longer and the assessment criteria more detailed; two full mock exams and individual feedback need 6 extra hours.
