B1 is the standard of the Wet inburgering 2021 and the level of Staatsexamen NT2 Programma I. The 80-hour programme in two modules is built on independent speaking, giving reasons and work-related texts.

Who it is for
Residents with an inburgering obligation, candidates for Staatsexamen NT2 Programma I and anyone who wants to use Dutch at work. The Turkish-language market has had almost no structured group course at B1 and above; this programme was designed to fill that gap.
At Programma I the national first-attempt pass rate is around 51 percent, with Luisteren and Lezen as the weakest components. Module 2 therefore gives extra weight to listening and reading strategies. Exam technique itself is practised in the NT2 Programma I package.

What your week looks like
Preparation video
Before the live session you watch a 20-40 minute video with Turkish explanation and complete the automatic exercises. The explanation is not repeated live.
Two live sessions
Twice a week, 2 hours each. At least 70 percent of the time goes to speaking and reading, with correction by the teacher. Breakout rooms and role plays.
Weekly task and feedback
You submit a short text or voice recording; the teacher gives written feedback within two working days. Pending teacher approval
Measurement every four weeks
A skills check shows where you stand. At the end you receive a written assessment of four skills.

Frequently asked questions
Does a school need a keurmerk for inburgering?
Paying with the DUO loan is only possible at schools with the Blik op Werk keurmerk. Our system is set up to the keurmerk standard and the application follows after the first cohorts; we state the current status clearly before enrolment. For self-paying students the keurmerk is not a condition.
How long does it take to reach B1 in total?
From zero to B1 a total of 168 live hours is planned (40 + 48 + 80), about 42 weeks. Your self-study routine and living in the Netherlands can shorten or lengthen it.
Is this course enough for Programma I?
This course targets general B1. The exam requires timed mock exams, writing on a computer and recognising question types; those are practised in the 24-hour NT2 Programma I package. We plan both together.
